Hi everyone, in response to our poll on CBD, which overwhelmingly supported regular posts, here is what I want you to be aware of first. As with everything, not all companies or products are created equal, so buyer beware.
Make sure that you buy from a company that utilizes hemp grown in the US. Regulations are in place to assure that the products are grown in a manner that are free from pesticides and other toxins that can cause health issues.
See how the CBD is being extracted from the plants and make sure that the chemicals and methods aren’t being used that put impurities and other nasties into the product.
Look at the independent lab tests of the products to see the chemical composition. If companies don’t supply this, then stay away.
Finally, for today, ask about the bioavailability of the product, which essentially means how much is getting into your system. You don’t want to buy a product that says 100 mg and assume that it is the same for every manufacturer. You could only be getting the equivalent of 1/10th of that.
Check out this website: www.projectcbd.org, they have a wealth of information that you can access. Knowledge is power!
Stay tuned for my next post which will be on the 3 types of CBD: isolates, full spectrum, and broad spectrum.
