COVID-19 and CBD

For the past several weeks the news has been all about COVID-19 and what may or may not have any effect on it, which includes CBD. To cut to the chase and not contribute to the gluttony of misinformation that abounds, THERE ARE NO STUDIES TO SHOW ANY EFFECTS OR RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CBD OR COVID-19.

There is, however, anecdotal evidence to suggest why use of CBD has increased since the pandemic. Surveys conducted since the meteoric rise in unemployment and shelter in place or stay at home orders, are showing that anxiety is the #1 complaint and is present in 53% of respondents. Depression and insomnia are the #3 and #4 complaints respectively. Couple that with pain, anxiety and sleep as the 3 leading reasons given by consumers for buying CBD products, it makes perfect sense. Two of the top 3 reasons for use, are two of the top 4 symptoms that people are suffering from since the world has been turned upside down by this pandemic.

If you are experience an increase in anxiety, having difficulty sleeping, or feeling depressed because of the state of the world and so many unknowns in your life, CBD may provide you some relief. We have isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum products in stock, so please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or if you are interested in any of the products. cjleer@familyptservices.com
