1) Do you have pain below the knee?

Please note: The mission of Hero Healers is to help you identify is the cause of your leg pain is due to sciatica from a herniated disc. The sciatic nerve consists of nerves roots that travel beyond the knee and research shows the following questions and tests are effective at determining the cause of these symptoms. If your leg pain does not extend beyond the knee, this may indicate that you do not have true sciatica and these questions and tests may not be as informative. Feel free to continue taking the test, but please keep this in mind.

2) Is the pain in either leg as bad or worse than any pain in your back (if you have any)?

3) Does either leg feel cold?
4) Is the pain in your leg worse with coughing, sneezing, or straining?
5) On a scale of 1 - 10, how much "fear" do you have that your back/leg pain would be increased by physical activity?
6) For how long have you had leg pain?
